It's a sad, sad day

by Brittany Geragotelis

We're leaving the beach in an hour and I have to admit, I'm a little depressed. I'm sitting here, crying a little into the cake that I'm eating for breakfast (not really though, because that would be a waste of perfectly good cake!). Waking up each day, pulling on a swimsuit and heading down to the beach for some sun-soaking (don't worry, I wear 80 SPF! I practice safe sun.) and reading my magazines....there's seriously nothing like it. I really think my quality of life would be so much better if I lived near the beach--or at least just not in busy, busy NYC.

I'm so sad to leave, I don't think I can even summon up a blog today. So, instead, I'll just leave you with this picture. It pretty much sums up how I'm feeling right now. This is Matt's dog, Tyler. She's not happy to be leaving either...

5x5,
B.

Please get more vacation time in for me! Even though I had a week at the beach, I feel like I could use another week! Oh well...at least I'm headed to Arizona next weekend and then on to New Orleans the following. So, it won't be ALL work and no play...

What beach are you heading to?

Oh NOLA is awesome! I have the cutest pic of my boyfriend with beignet powdered sugar on his face. Y'all should have an awesome time! And I'm at Myrtle Beach, but we have to leave to go back home today :*(
