I don't know about you, but
Sweet Valley High was one of the first book series that I truly fell in love with growing up. There was something a little bit taboo and totally unique and special about this set of pretty blond twins who looked exactly alike, but couldn't have been more different in personality.

Jessica Wakefield was the popular, outgoing party girl who was as adventurous as she was fiery. Elizabeth was the quiet, shy, intelligent dreamer, who loved to bury herself in a good book and surrounded herself with her loyal friends and devoted (and dreamy) boyfriend. Before there was Team Edward and Team Jacob, there was Team Jessica and Team Elizabeth. Which twin were you? Me, I was definitely an Elizabeth.

Well,
SVH scribe, Francine Pascal, is about to break the mold again...and as a longtime fan, I can't wait to read what she's penning next.
Sweet Valley Confidential: Ten Years Later is set to hit bookshelves in 2011. Lots has changed in 10 years (for both the twins and for me!): apparently Jessica and Elizabeth don't live in Sweet Valley anymore. In fact, one isn't even speaking to the other! If that's not enough to draw you back to your high school days, how about a little drama—adult style. If you don't believe me, take a look at the
first chapter in the new series. Seriously, check it out. But be careful, you
will be left wanting more! Oh, and word has it Diablo Cody is first in line to write the screenplay for the movie...I can't decide if that's good or bad. What do you think?
5x5,
B.

Oh my gosh, I remember the theme song to the TV show. That's embarrassing...
